I drove by Oscars one night the lights and clean looking building drew my attention. I decided to give it a try the other night and I was NOT disappointed. Everything was fresh, the wings were still steaming hot, and they give you plenty of sauce on the wings. The wait for delivery wasn't long either. I just ordered more food tonight. I hope this place stays in business for a long long time :)
Overall, very impressed with this place. Albany area is full of great pizza and this place isn't quite at the top, but it's very solid and definitely worth going to.
Wings were good, not great, but if you need wings from a pizza place these deliver above average for sure.
Pizza was really good. Pretty basic flavor you could spice up to your liking.
Ordered a gyro meal. The beef tasted like it had been cooked yesterday and allowed to sit under a heat lamp since then. Completely dried out and tough. The taziki sauce was thinner then skim milk. The fries seemed as if they forgot to cook them and served me defrosted freezer fries. They forgot my drink and tried to deliver my food to my neighbor. Only positive thing was the veggies on the gyro seemed fresh. Other then that, I can safely say I'll never eat there again.
This place is around the corner from my house and I have to say they have amazing food. I love the Oscar burger and the calzones are to die for!!
Very good garlic knots, just a shade below the best places. The fact the sauce came cold was disappointing.
had a living social deal...went in and got an antipasto salad along with with a medium mediterranean pie...and it was ALL GOOD! salad was fresh...dressings were 'ken's'...pizza was distinctive in taste and perfectly cooked.
will definitely visit again and would recommend. nearby along central avenue there are MANY places to grab pizza. consider oscar's to be on your short list...
